Kabir Oladeji
MEMBER AT LARGE
Kabir Oladeji is a professional accountant and payroll compliance practitioner. He was born in Nigeria and educated both in Nigeria and Canada.Â
He worked with reputable companies in Nigeria as a Relationship Manager for 12 years before he relocated to Canada in 2009. He has lived in Winnipeg for over 13 years and currently works for Manitoba Shared Health as a Budget Accountant.Â
Kabir has supported and volunteered with various Muslim organizations in Winnipeg including Winnipeg Central Mosque and Rahma Islamic Centre. He was the formal president of Al-Haqq Prayer Gruop of \canada Inc.
Yunusa Salami
MISSION REP 1
Yunusa Salami is a seasoned educationist who have been in the industry for over two decades, both locally and internationally. He holds Nigerian certificate in Education, (N.C.E spc), BA Ed in Educational Foundation and Management and master's degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lagos State University, NigeriaÂ
An educationist and Islamic scholar, he is married and blessed with children.Â
Yunusa Salami is a serving board member at Manitoba Islamic Organization, a pioneer member of Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada and double as an Amir of the Nigerian Muslim community in Manitoba, Canada.
Hammed Ayoade
PRESIDENT
Hammed Ayoade is a professional in both Electrical Engineer and Real Estate Industry. His experience is vast in residential and commercial transactions. He possesses over 20 years' experience in design and construction management. He is an alumnus of University of Manitoba, graduated with Electrical Engineering and Management minor. He has lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba for over a decade.
A seasoned administrator and respected community leader, he has made significant contributions to public service and community development.Â
He volunteers to Nigerian and Black Communities in his spare time. Hammed has been an active member in Nigerian Muslim Community in Manitoba (AI- Haqq Prayer Group of Canada) since inception. Hammed values family life and enjoys hand-on activities.
Babatunde Busari
MEMBER AT LARGE
Babatunde Busari was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. He received his higher diploma in Accounting from The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1997 and got qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria.
Baba started his career as an Accountant with a Law Firm of Etti & Edu in 1999 as the head of accounts and worked there for over 7 years. In 2006 he was employed by Intercontinental Bank Group as the Financial Controller of Intercontinental Bank Subsidiary (Intercontinental Properties Limited).Â
In 2011, Babatunde immigrated to Canada with his family. He worked with a few private entities as an Accountant prior to joining the Government of Manitoba as Accounts Manager. Baba was appointed to the position of Manager of Accounting Services within 1 year of joining the service. He is currently working at the Office of the Provincial Comptroller in Treasury.
Baba has volunteered in various organisation which include Archwood 55+, Nigerian Professional in Manitoba, Okin International Club of Manitoba, and Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada. Babatunde is happily married to Khadijah Busari with 4 wonderful and aspiring children.
Halimatu Olajide-Sani
SOCIAL SECRETARY
Halimatu Olajide-Sani; a professional Credit Specialist with a major Financial Institution in Canada. She is from Kwara State but was born and raised In Kaduna State, Nigeria. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Nigeria.
A dedicated wife, mother, and community leader, she has played an active role in advancing public service and fostering community development.
Prior to joining the board, she has volunteered with Al-Haqq as events coordinator and program planning committee member. She is a mother, a wife, and she enjoys spending quality time with family.
Tosin Taoheed Ajobo
TREASURER
Tosin Ajobo is a Winnipeg-based community leader and public servant with a background in criminal justice and social services. He has extensive experience supporting at-risk individuals through roles as a Probation Officer, Mental Health Clinician, Clinical Case Manager and Youth Care Worker.Â
He serves as a Treasurer and Coordinator at Alhaqq Masjid, where he contributes to financial oversight and community programming.Â
Tosin is committed to fostering positive change and is pursuing further development in social work to better support youth and families.Â
He is a devoted husband and father who values faith, service, and community impact.Â
Ismail Adigun

I am a seasoned Audit and Compliance professional with over 24 years of experience gained across multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government organizations in both Nigeria and Canada. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive expertise in governance, risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and organizational effectiveness. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Ilorin and hold postgraduate degrees from the University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University
I immigrated to Canada with my family in 2021 and have been an active member of the Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada since April 2021.Â

Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am passionate about community service and have served in various capacities within the community. I enjoy volunteering and contributing my time, skills, and experience to support initiatives that promote community development and well-being
Adeola Bakare
MISSION REP
Adeola Amidu Bakare holds a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (Transportation Option) from the Lagos State polythetic and a Certificate in Construction Management at Manitoba Construction Associations.
An educationist and Islamic scholar, he is married and blessed with children.
He is an active volunteer with charitable organizations like the Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA), Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada (Nigerian Muslim Community), and other religious organizations.Â
Matt Tijani
ELDERS IN COUNCIL
Alhaji Monsuru (Matt) Tijani, MSc. Agric. Matt Tijani is from Badagry, in Lagos State of Nigeria. Matt attended Badagry Grammar School, Fairview Agricultural College, Alberta, Canada and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA. Matt, a Professional Agrologist, presently works for Agriculture and Agrifoods Canada - AAFCÂ
He has volunteered in the community since migrating to Canada in 1975. As a long term community volunteer, Matt is a founding member of Okin International Club of Canada, an organization that promotes Yoruba Language and Culture within Canadian Mosaic. He has been an advocate for the preservation of culture and heritage and religious freedom. Matt is married and gifted with three children.Â

Khairat Shittu
VICE SOCIAL SECRETARY
Khairat was born and educated in Nigeria where she obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry in 2009. Prior to moving to Canada she worked as a Research Scientist in a leading Nigerian agro allied research institute. Khairat loves reading, making friends and watching movies.Â
Khairat moved to Canada in 2015 with her family and has worked with several government agencies . She is currently working with a federal agency.Â
Khairat believes in fostering a healthy community where everyone including young adults thrive, belong and support each other!Â
