Kabir Oladeji
BOARD CHAIR
Kabir Oladeji is a professional accountant and payroll compliance practitioner. He was born in Nigeria and educated both in Nigeria and Canada. He worked with reputable companies in Nigeria as a Relationship Manager for 12 years before he relocated to Canada in 2009. He has lived in Winnipeg for over 13 years and currently works for Manitoba Shared Health as a Budget Accountant. Kabir has supported and volunteered with various Muslim organizations in Winnipeg including Winnipeg Central Mosque and Rahma Islamic Centre. He is married and blessed with three wonderful children.
Yunusa Salami
AMIR
Yunusa Salami is a seasoned educationist who have been in the industry for over two decades, both locally and internationally. He holds Nigerian certificate in Education, (N.C.E spc), BA Ed in Educational Foundation and Management and master’s degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lagos State University, Nigeria.

Yunusa Salami is a serving board member at Manitoba Islamic Organization, a pioneer member of Alhaqq Prayer Group of Canada and double as an Amir of the Nigerian Muslim community in Manitoba, Canada.
Hammed Ayoade
GENERAL SECRETARY

Hammed Ayoade is an Electrical Engineer by profession. He has worked with reputable multinationals in various capacities as Project Engineer, Project Manager and Inventory/ Procurement Specialist within West Africa and Canada. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in Electrical Engineering and Management. He has lived in Winnipeg Manitoba for over a decade. He volunteers to Nigerian and Black Communities in his spare time. Hammed has been an active member in Nigerian Muslim Community in Manitoba (Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada) since inception. Hammed values family life and enjoys hand-on activities.

Babatunde Busari
SOCIAL SECRETARY

Babatunde Busari was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. He received his higher diploma in Accounting from The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1997 and got qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. Baba started his career as an Accountant with a Law Firm of Etti & Edu in 1999 as the head of accounts and worked there for over 7 years. In 2006 he was employed by Intercontinental Bank Group as the Financial Controller of Intercontinental Bank Subsidiary (Intercontinental Properties Limited).
In 2011, Babatunde immigrated to Canada with his family. He worked with a few private entities as an Accountant prior to joining the Government of Manitoba as Accounts Manager. Baba was appointed to the position of Manager of Accounting Services within 1 year of joining the service. He is currently working at the Office of the Provincial Comptroller in Treasury Board Secretariat.
Baba has volunteered in various organisation which include Archwood 55+, Nigerian Professional in Manitoba, Okin International Club of Manitoba, and Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada. Babatunde is happily married to Khadijah Busari with 4 wonderful and aspiring children.

Halimatu Olajide-Sani
VICE-SOCIAL SECRETARY
Halimatu Olajide-Sani; a professional Credit Specialist with a major Financial Institution in Canada. She is from Kwara State but was born and raised In Kaduna State, Nigeria. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Nigeria. 
Prior to joining the board, she has volunteered with Al-Haqq as events coordinator and program planning committee member. She is a mother, a wife, and she enjoys spending quality time with family.
Tosin Taoheed Ajobo
TREASURER
Tosin is the Youth/Volunteer Coordinator for Alhaqq Prayer Group. He enjoys spending time with the youth and families and has helped by connecting youth and families to services and supports in the community. With his work experience as a Youth Care Practitioner and a former Probation Officer, he enjoys working with the public. In his free time, he enjoys running, as he has completed over 10 half marathons.
Afeez Ismail
FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Afeez Ismail is a Nigerian-Born Canadian and a Financial Analyst that is best recognized for his professionalism and creativity. He has worked in several capacities as an accountant, finance manager and a financial analyst within both the private and public sectors. Afeez completed a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree in Accounting and Management Information System (MIS) at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. He is currently a public service employee with the Government of Canada.

Afeez has been an active member of Al-Haqq since 2012 and has volunteered in various capacities prior to becoming a board member. He is passionate about volunteerism and charitable services, as he continues to volunteer with other charitable organizations like The Winnipeg BearClan, Nigerian Muslim Community, Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA), Creative Foundation Inc(CFI), and Nigerian Association In Manitoba (NAMI).
Adeola Bakare
MISSION REP

Adeola Amidu Bakare holds a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (Transportation Option) from the Lagos State polythetic and a Certificate in Construction Management at Manitoba Construction Associations.
He is an active volunteer with charitable organizations like the Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA), Alhaqq Prayer Group of Canada (Nigerian Muslim Community), and other religious organizations.

Matt Tijani
ADVISORY MEMEBER
Alhaji Monsuru (Matt) Tijani, MSc. Agric. Matt Tijani is from Badagry, in Lagos State of Nigeria. Matt attended Badagry Grammar School, Fairview Agricultural College, Alberta, Canada and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA. Matt, a Professional Agrologist, presently works for Agriculture and Agrifoods Canada - AAFC. He has volunteered in the community since migrating to Canada in 1975. As a long term community volunteer, Matt is a founding member of Okin International Club of Canada, an organization that promotes Yoruba Language and Culture within Canadian Mosaic. He has been an advocate for the preservation of culture and heritage and religious freedom. Matt is married and gifted with three children.
