Yunusa Salami is a serving board member at Manitoba Islamic Organization, a pioneer member of Alhaqq Prayer Group of Canada and double as an Amir of the Nigerian Muslim community in Manitoba, Canada.
Hammed Ayoade is an Electrical Engineer by profession. He has worked with reputable multinationals in various capacities as Project Engineer, Project Manager and Inventory/ Procurement Specialist within West Africa and Canada. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in Electrical Engineering and Management. He has lived in Winnipeg Manitoba for over a decade. He volunteers to Nigerian and Black Communities in his spare time. Hammed has been an active member in Nigerian Muslim Community in Manitoba (Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada) since inception. Hammed values family life and enjoys hand-on activities.
Babatunde Busari was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. He received his higher diploma in Accounting from The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1997 and got qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. Baba started his career as an Accountant with a Law Firm of Etti & Edu in 1999 as the head of accounts and worked there for over 7 years. In 2006 he was employed by Intercontinental Bank Group as the Financial Controller of Intercontinental Bank Subsidiary (Intercontinental Properties Limited).
In 2011, Babatunde immigrated to Canada with his family. He worked with a few private entities as an Accountant prior to joining the Government of Manitoba as Accounts Manager. Baba was appointed to the position of Manager of Accounting Services within 1 year of joining the service. He is currently working at the Office of the Provincial Comptroller in Treasury Board Secretariat.
Baba has volunteered in various organisation which include Archwood 55+, Nigerian Professional in Manitoba, Okin International Club of Manitoba, and Al-Haqq Prayer Group of Canada. Babatunde is happily married to Khadijah Busari with 4 wonderful and aspiring children.
Prior to joining the board, she has volunteered with Al-Haqq as events coordinator and program planning committee member. She is a mother, a wife, and she enjoys spending quality time with family.
Afeez has been an active member of Al-Haqq since 2012 and has volunteered in various capacities prior to becoming a board member. He is passionate about volunteerism and charitable services, as he continues to volunteer with other charitable organizations like The Winnipeg BearClan, Nigerian Muslim Community, Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA), Creative Foundation Inc(CFI), and Nigerian Association In Manitoba (NAMI).
Adeola Amidu Bakare holds a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (Transportation Option) from the Lagos State polythetic and a Certificate in Construction Management at Manitoba Construction Associations.
He is an active volunteer with charitable organizations like the Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA), Alhaqq Prayer Group of Canada (Nigerian Muslim Community), and other religious organizations.
